Dancing has always been my favorite hobby and an inseparable part of who I am. As a self-taught dancer, I embrace freestyle, letting my movements flow naturally with the rhythm of the music. Recently, I’ve started learning the classical Indian dance form Kathak, which adds grace and depth to my passion. Dancing is more than just a hobby; it’s my way of expressing emotions and telling stories. Over the years, I’ve participated in various school and university-level competitions, winning multiple awards. Every performance fills me with excitement, and the stage feels like home, where I can truly be myself.
What makes dancing special to me is the happiness and energy it brings into my life. Whether it’s practicing a new routine or improvising to a favorite song, I feel alive and connected to the moment. Learning Kathak has also taught me discipline and patience, enriching my journey as a dancer. The joy of moving to the beats, combined with the applause and encouragement from others, motivates me to keep improving. Dancing isn’t just about winning competitions; it’s about personal growth and sheer love for the art.
Apart from dancing, I also enjoy drawing, which is another hobby that I’ve taught myself. Sketching and painting allow me to express my imagination and create something beautiful out of nothing. While dancing energizes my body, drawing soothes my mind, offering a perfect balance. Both hobbies bring immense satisfaction, and together, they help me explore my creativity, making life more colorful and meaningful.
